Near the village of Les Trois-Moutiers, about 320 kilometers south-west of Paris, you can see De la Mothe-Chandeniers castle, an open-air ruin surrounded by trees, brambles and bru- shwood that creep into the walls, hiding what was a home of important French families. The intervention is an opportunity to rethink the ruin as a recipe, the background of a future to be rewritten, realized through a visual and sensory experience of an exclusive wellness center.

The strong geometry of the castle park, the desire to avoid a invasive landscape intervention as in the areas surrounding us, led us to concentrate the project inside the ruin.
The visitor will have the opportunity to be part of a regenerating and spiritual experience walking and settling inside the ancient walls, a path aimed at the discovery of themselves, of the history and of the products that make this environment special.

An exclusive wellness center with 5 rooms of two different sizes on the first and second floor. The ground floor and the rooftop instead, public, where there will be the opportunity to taste and buy the products of the area and enjoy the experience of one of the most exclusive views of the Fench landscape.
